OFFICIALLY BUMMED OUT

Well it's not like I didn't figure it out already, but today I officially found out that no, once we move there will NOT be a cashier position of any shape or form. I am going to be working "out front", a place I have not worked since I've been there. I am so used to working behind the scenes as a part of my team, doing a lot of accounting based things, be it deposits or things like stock levels for tickets and currency etc. I have been in a semi-mourning period for some time now, and although I really haven't talked much about that part of it's effect on me, it's really had me bummed out. Now of course, it's full fledged. I'm very nervous about what I'll be doing, mainly because I am so comfortable working quietly behind the scenes and not being out front with member line-ups and all the goings-on. And mostly because I am just not a counter person. Been there, done that, didn't like it one bit, nor am I as good at that as I am on phones and doing other things. You know how everyone has their strong points and weak points........ well counter work is my weak one. As of yet I still don't know all of what I will be doing, so as my boss and I were talking about today, the two of us are going to have to sit down one of these days. Bummer bummer bummer....... and so ends the saga of my job change when we move this summer.

On a lighter note (please!) my workmate and friend Vickytoria is feeling better today! Yay! (before you ask, her name is Vicky, or Victoria, but I always call her a combo of both, just because I'm weird, lol ) Although neither one of us slept well so we were both butt dragging today. And the day went well, even though it was a Monday. Not to shabby at all. Actually there were a lot of people at work today that felt bagged tired ~~ most of them blame it on the pesky time change. I think all of us bloggers had already made it unanimous that daylight savings sucks the big hard one.

22 days until my birthday ~ and I've already told my sis Pammie what I want for my birthday dinner and cake. We always get to choose. She makes the BEST meatballs, they are a kind of sweet&sour version ~ and I think I've requested that dish pretty much the last several years, lol. Oh and I love sister Brenda's taco salad, so I may ask for that too. **oink oink** And the cake is going to be carrot cake w/cream cheese frosting. Yum or what?? As far as gifts, hell I'll take a sizeable amount of deniro ~ enough to get me to the U.K. anyway! Oh!! And BACK too, please!! Okay that's wishful thinking unless one of the sisters or myself wins the lottery. So I'll be extremely happy with some cute little baubles or whatever, I always get lovely things from everyone. And hubby is always good for a gift certificate for clothing, which I need.

Busy week this week ~~ Wednesday afternoon I won't be at the office as I'm going to be spending that part of the day over in our ERS department (Emergency Road Service) seeing how they do everything ~~ and then after work I'm going out to dinner with my friend Kimbie, who used to work with us and is now training in Air Traffic Contol, or whatever the proper title is....... haven't seen her for awhile so that will be fun! And then Thursday night I'm heading out to the office for a staff meeting. OY, I'm getting tired just listening to myself! LOL

Well folks I wish I had some really fantastic news, like Canadian dates for the Lepp's tour........ in particular Edmonton! But so far we're still waiting. In the meantime, all you fellow Leppy's who DO have tickets already lined up ~ pump your fists in the air for me, will ya??

Have a great Tuesday everyone, and take care of each other! PEACE!

Love Jude
