TEXTURE

"Texture" was the theme of the July Photo Competition and these were my 3 entries.


1. "SUNWASHED"

That was taken this past spring when the MayDay tree was just starting to sprout it's leaves. I liked the way the sun and shadows played softly against the roughness of the wall.


2. "ENCRUSTED"

I took this, one of many shots, in my favourite cemetery here last fall. I really liked the rusty orange colours and the way the sun pinpointed it.

3. "FROM A MAUI BEACH"

I brought these shells and sand home from my favourite beach in my favourite place in the world. That was on my last trip there back in 1989!
