BRAGGING RIGHTS

Okay yes I am bragging, a little bit. I don't normally do this sort of thing but it was such a nice gesture that it tickled me pink!

Dave is "Auld Scot" in our Stardom Awaits! photo contest blog, and both he, myself and his wife Elizabeth (also in the photo contest blog) like to take pictures and write poetry. When I shared this poem with him via email he liked it and published it in the paper which he edits, then sent me a couple of copies. His words: "Now you're internationally published Jude!" How cool! It made me smile. :-)

Damn, how we go from sunny and green to this in one day! Today we woke up to some white stuff on the ground. And it's COLD. Damn, we didn't make it to Halloween this year. Waking up to darkness isn't my favourite thing either, I don't know if it's just me, but I am awake quicker when it's light out. When it's dark it feels like it's still the middle of the night. I don't think the snow is going to stay though, but it's definitely colder now. Highs of around mid 30's (F) will make a cold night for the kiddos while trick-or-treating.

I think in Canada we should have Halloween a month earlier while it's still nice out.... who's with me on this? Let's have a march and then a sit-in. We can wear flowers in our hair and chant peace songs and ....... oh wait, wrong decade...

I hope you are still having beautiful autumn weather where you are. Have a good week and take good care of each other!

PEACE!
Love Jude

How damn cool! You can now start a career in journalism.

And keep that white stuff to yourself! I don't want it my way yet!

You're famous, Jude! And your poem is great.

I see you have the white stuff already. Hope you don't get more! Lots of rain falling in my backyard.

I wish it was just rain here Bobbie, but as the week wears on the temps are going up a bit so hopefully this will melt away. It's only on lawns, the roads and sidewalks are clear but wet. And that is your weather forecast from Edmonton! LOL!

Have a great week Bobbie!
