JUDE'S BLOOMERS! WANNA SEE THEM?

It's that time of year again, where our flowering trees and shrubs are starting to bud. This is our MayDay tree out back, and unfortunately due to being diseased quite badly we're probably going to have to chop it down in the next year or two. Sad, because it's so pretty, and the scent is delicious when in flower!

Also just starting to flower are our Flowering Plums, and Lilacs. Within the next week or two the Lilacs should be in full bloom and smelling lovely.

Here in Canada it is the Victoria Day long weekend for us. It is also the weekend that my hubby and I celebrate our wedding anniversary, this being our 14th. Also, today sister Pammie took off work, and she and I were supposed to go on a photo shoot somewhere outdoors. But somehow I managed to come down with a horrific head cold and I'm too sick to go anywhere. I was so mad! LOL Ah well, Pammie enjoyed her day off at home just relaxing, and hopefully we'll be able to get out somewhere soon.

This is our Cherry tree out front. This will get completely white with flowers pretty quick! Being so under the weather is why the only pictures I have to share with you today are taken from my windows. Too sick to get dressed and go outside. Besides, that sun would have roasted me.

It's only still May and already it's too hot in the house. When it gets to mid 70's in here I'm sweating and starting to feel like I'm wilting, LOL! When I get this posted I'm heading for my rocker and a little fan blowing on me. Aaaahhhhhh....

Have a good weekend everyone. I wish all my Canadian friends a great Victoria Day weekend! Stay safe!

PEACE!
Love Jude

Very interesting title. Reading your post it all sounds so nice but I start to think of my nose and then on comes a sneeze. I like seeing all of the flowers, trees, birds but could do with out the bees and the pollen.

Glad spring has sprung and that your enjoying the weather! Sure beats all of that snow. :)

Sorry I tickled your nose there Jer! LOL Yep it is nice to see green grass and some flowering going on after all that snow. I did NOT however, miss the heat and much prefer the house when it isn't so darn hot inside.

Have a great weekend!

My lilacs are almost open and I can't wait. We've had a few nice days but I guess rain is on the way.

Hope you enjoy your weekend, Jude. And hope you're feeling better.

I just got up from a nice long sleep! First night's sleep I've had since Wednesday, so things are looking up!

I adore the smell of lilacs! I do hope you get more sunshine and less rain Bobbie. We could use some rain here, and it looks like we have some coming too.

Have a great long weekend!
