GREAT NEWS! THANK YOU GOD!

My sister Brenda went yesterday for her long awaited post-surgery consultation with her Oncologist. What is so fabulous I almost cried, is that she needs no further treatment! I simply cannot thank all of you enough for so graciously adding your good thoughts and prayers to those of our frantic family.

THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart.

She is still having some drainage issues and cannot go back to work yet, but hopefully that will clear up given a bit more time. She's alive and well and cancer-friggin'-free and that's GROOVY!

Speaking of sisters, our oldest sister Linda (older than me by one year) is here visiting on her Christmas vacation. She always stays out at Brenda's as they have the big house with extra bedrooms etc. Here, we can't even find enough floor space to put a piece of foam down for her. Anyway, we always get to see her a few times while she's here but due to Brenda finding it a bit hard driving (Linda and I don't drive at all) and bad roads from a lot of recent snow, we haven't seen her very much. She's going back home this weekend so hopefully we can get out there Saturday!

And in other less exciting but still cool news....... suck me dry and call me Dusty! I never heard of this site, but I got this in my email today:

Dear Jude,

Our editors recently reviewed your blog and have given it a 7.2 score out of (10) in the Personal Blogs category of Blogged.com.

This is quite an achievement!

We evaluated your blog based on the following criteria: Frequency of Updates, Relevance of Content, Site Design, and Writing Style.

After carefully reviewing each of these criteria, your site was given its 7.2 score.

So did they just "find" me randomly or did one of my readers tell on me? LOL

I put the links up (I was supposed to, part of the deal I guess) in my sidebar, but before I get too excited I must tell you that 7.2 is "very good" but there are gazillions of blogs in the 9.something ratings at "Excellent". Still, it's nice to be acknowledged, eh wot?

Speaking of blogs, if you wish to participate and haven't yet, go to Stardom Awaits! to place your vote for this month's Photo Contest. The theme is "Christmas" and there are some terrific shots from our entrants! The voting will be up and running for about another week or so.

I hope the New Year has started off on a positive foot for each of you, at the very least in some small way. Have a good weekend folks, and please remember to take good care of each other. Love is where it's at!

PEACE!
Love Jude
