THE BULLETS ARE GETTING BIGGER!!

Holy crap I started to panic this morning.... I was feeling really, really shitty all morning before hubby and I went out to do our grocery shopping and running around. I think I've been fighting off this scary virus that's going around everywhere anyway, I've been SO DAMM tired.... well in the last few days the exhaustion has been phenomenal, and this morning it was at it's peak..... I felt like I had hot sand in my eyes and my tummy was feeling "upset". No barfing, thank you God!! And I just wanted to go back to bed and sleep. However, I took yet some more echinacea and Vitamin C, and out the door we went ~~ into the freezing cold temperatures.......(I think the high today was around -20C, and right now it's -32C, which is -26F.) Yikes, huh?? LOL Well anyway, I don't know if it was the cold air or what, but by the time we got home a few hours later, I wasn't feeling quite so poorly anymore. I'm still exhausted though, and I have to go back to work tomorrow. Thank heavens it is at least supposed to get warmer again after tomorrow! But you know what????? I'll take this ANYDAY over a tsunami....or an earthquake or flooding....... geez. I feel so fortunate to live where I do! All those poor people lost in the tsunami is just too overwhelming to comprehend. God bless them all, and their loved ones.

Hey Patty!!! I was telling Debs about the Nanaimo Bars I made the other day ( I was pigging out on one while we were I.M.ing... lol) and she had never heard of them. Am I right, was it actually "invented" in Namaimo, B.C. and maybe it's only a Canadian treat?? Well Debs doesn't have the sweet tooth that I do ( can ya tell from my blubber? LOL)
but hey, just in case any of my American friends wanna try a real nice chocolatey treat, here's the recipe! Trust me, it's a household word up here!
NANAIMO (Na-nye-mo) BARS

Now, this recipe is for real, and I could have given you a link for it from a gazillion places, but I found this one and it is SO FUNNY! It's a guy and it's hilarious how he writes it up. But seriously folks, if you like chocolate, it's a 3 layer to die for treat from your northern neighbours. Enjoy!!

Anyway, enough about chocolate, sugar, and freezing my ass off. Let's talk about something else......something CUTE AND FUZZY!! For any of you who haven't checked this out yet, and if you like dogs, you simply MUST get into Kurt's blog (on my links) and see the pic he posted of his new little girl puppy, Aspen. She is adorable! So much so, that I've probably been into your blog today Kurt about 10 times, once to comment, and 9 just to look at her picture again. We're talking puppy calendars, puppy modeling, puppy food commercials.......I mean, you've got a sweet, bring-tears-to-your-eyes little darling there! You and Chad must be proud parents, Kurt! Oh and by the way, get well soon, would ya? I'm sending you hugs!! Have lots of chicken soup ~ hey, maybe some Nanaimo Bars would make you feel better! LOL

Well I guess I need to try to get some actual SLEEP if I'm going back to work tomorrow......sheesh, sleep? What's that? Does it feel nice?? Maybe I'll get lucky in bed tonight, and find out. (no Debs, about the SLEEP!) ** although........** Anyway, I'm going now before this turns into something X-rated, or worse yet for all of you, something with bodily parts being discussed again! Geez I haven't done that for awhile now, have I? Hmmmmm... maybe soon. But until then, have a great night everyone, and a good day tomorrow. Later!
PEACE,
Love Jude
