ANOTHER SPIRIT VISIT

Just got back from a DEELISH birthday dinner ~ my sis Brenda turned 40-something (hee hee) today. Her hubby, my favouritest bro-in-law (and the only one, but he'd still always be my fav) Rory, made a very tasty dish, kind of a take off on 'Shepherd's Pie', if you are familiar with that. Man can he cook! Anyway we had a lovely visit, but were on the verge of shitting our pants coming back into the city from their place. It was dark, snowing, and drifting across the highways. And as they live in the country, we had to traverse some country roads too, where the snow was fairly deep. My hubby had to work today, so it was my sis Pammie and I who went out in her car. Pammie and I asked spirit to be with us and keep us and the doggies safe, and we got there and back home safe and sound. I'm now sitting down with a nice cup of tea and thought I'd post again about my spirit friends , and some of my experiences with them.

There have been so many instances and experiences, truly there really isn't a day goes by when there isn't somebody here, if not making their presence known, at least in the background where we can "feel" them. It's never a lonely house, that's for sure, and I have to explain, for those of you who aren't used to this sort of thing, that our home is FULL of loving, warm and helpful energies from spirit. A lot of the really strong stuff (like the first post I made about this) happened within the first couple of months after my late hubby passed away. Most of the rest of it, with exceptions, has been more subtle and quiet.

Grandparents who are in spirit are so notorious for keeping watch over their grandkids. And we are no exception in this house. A few years ago, we got a nudge from one of ours. There is a door at the bottom of a set of stairs going down to Pam's suite. I go in and out that door continually when I'm going up and down doing laundry. One day, I kept noticing that whenever I shut that door, it would be open again when I went back down. This kept happening, and there wasn't anybody else home. Then Pam told me that she kept finding it open too, at different times when she was down there. We must have both been just busy with stuff at the time, and didn't really acknowledge it, other than to mention it to each other, although this kept happening for a few weeks, if I remember the time frames correctly. Then one day I was doing laundry again, and standing right beside the washer/dryer unit, folding some clothes. I had just turned the washer on again, and to do so, you have to actually pull the knob out. You have to push it in to stop the washer. Well as I was standing there beside it, the button got pushed in and the washer stopped. So I looked at it, and it hit me that somebody was REALLY trying to get our attention, and we hadn't been acknowledging them. (this is usually all they want) So I started the washer again, and that night talked to Pam about it, both of us knowing that we had to find out who it was and what they wanted. With our own abilities (a bit more limited at the time) and the help of an outside medium, we got a physical description of the spirit, and then we were able to zero in on the person and what they wanted. Turns out it was our great-great grandfather, and he was there for Pam. Personal stuff, but he was there for emotional support. The thing is, as usually happens, now he's around pretty much all the time ~ and where we most feel him is in that laundry room. Want to know something? The table that I was folding clothes on that sits in there, is an antique fold-out leaf table that HE made with his own hands for his wife (my great-great grandmother) in the 1860's. This table is a family heirloom that has been handed down from mother to daughter, and my mom gave it to me years ago. And it's usually around that table that we feel him most. This man was my mom's great grandfather, and she described him to us. He was strikingly different in looks, he had white hair and a long white beard. She was close to him as a child and loved him dearly.

Yesterday when I was home alone and cooking in my kitchen, the house was quiet and I heard a door downstairs shut. It doesn't freak me out or worry me, because I know there are so many around here, and they are all friendly, most of them people we are related to. Some are our own spirit guides too, of course. We've had many people come into this house and comment how they feel so "comfortable", or like the "energies" in here. Some of these people are mediums themselves and are sensitive to the energies they feel, and others aren't, but they still like how they feel when they come in. We are aware that we have a lot of love and protection here, and around us wherever we go. We felt that way tonight when we were out on the highways in the snowy conditions and cold. It's a wonderful thing to have and to be able to feel, and I can't imagine my life without the awareness of it. I've had a life full of love, parents, sisters, relatives and friends........ and I've lost quite a few loved ones now. But it doesn't really change, as I still have all their love around me, continually being given by them from the other side. How beautiful a thing is that. The saying is so true.... "Love never dies".

Have a great Sunday everyone, and take care of each other ~~ PEACE!

AND NOW... ANOTHER HORROR SCOPE BY GYPSY JUDLES
With Neptune rising this next few days, all signs are in for a fun time. Taurus and Libra especially will be susceptible to runny noses and crotch itch. Be aware that as long as the sun signs are in your cusp, it is not a favourable time to marry. This is a good time to collect money, so if you've been fighting with your mate, go ahead and get that divorce. Signs are favourable for lawyers to experience a cash windfall. People born on this day are all nitpickers.
