THANKS, A.M.A. !!

Today, I am finally going to go spend the two gift cards I got from work (Alberta Motor Association) the last two Christmases....... thank goodness they are good for 2 years, as I still have the one from Christmas 2003 as well. So, I am off to go clothes shopping! I need some new threads SO BAD...... and you'd think I'd have spent them as soon as I got them, wouldn't you? But alas, that means taking a day to actually go just for that ~~ and every Sunday I already spend the day out getting groceries, doing any banking and running any other errands as it is. I'm not about to give up my Saturday doing even more shopping too. The point is, I hate clothes shopping alone, as I like to have a second opinion how stuff looks on me, you know? And it's just been too hard arranging a time to go with someone. I don't drive, so I'm catching a bus to the mall this morning, and then I'll cab it back home with all my packages......assuming that I'm successful, that is. To use my Noo Yawk sista Janna's word, I'm not into "schlepping" a bunch of packages on the bus home, LOL. So I'm enjoying a cup of coffee right now, and soon I'll be stepping into the shower, applying some much needed warpaint onto my tired old face, and heading out the door. With spring here, I'm hoping to find some good sales on winter parkas for sure ~ I'm going to need something really warm for next winter, as we will have moved our office and I'll have a longer walk now in the cold weather. I also need some new blouses/tops SO BADLY for work and otherwise, perhaps some new slacks too. Not to mention undies. So wish me luck, peeps!!

Oh and guess what I watched last night????? I finally sat down and checked out my new movie "HYSTERIA, THE DEF LEPPARD STORY", and I really thought it was done well! Adam MacDonald played a terrific Sav, in my opinion, and I especially enjoyed watching how he had all of Sav's "moves " down so well......right down to the way he did the little "hands- on- brow -looking- into- the -crowd" thing.......perfect!! I'm really glad we found the movie and I think I'll be keeping it!

I'm off to do my thing, and the mystical Madame Gypsy Judles will be back later, I'm afraid I haven't been able to wake the lazybones up enough to conjure up anthing yet for you...... heh heh. So I wish you all a terrific Friday, and I'll catch up with you later! PEACE!
