GOD'S PAINTBRUSH

People who know me, know how sunsets are one of my favourite things. Every one of them brings a grounding calm over me. The sky might be completely cloudless with just a glow, there may be no colour really to speak of.

Or, you might get this. I took these shots a couple of days ago.

I swear I never edited the colours in these, all I did was resize them and border them.

This is what I live for when I watch sunsets!

About 20 years ago I lived in a highrise (10 stories up) facing west. The brilliant sunsets there with unimpeding houses and garages like I have now, would have made some excellent pictures. I didn't have a digital camera then though!

Another aspect of "looking up" brings another reason to grab the camera. Clouds.

You've all seen some of the storm clouds etc. that I've posted here, but how about something else? I think everyone at some time in their life has watched clouds and picked out shapes in them. I did just that several days ago too.

A little Angel girl in a pony tail sitting on a cloud:

After our "Sweaty July" here, we've so far had a cooler August. Today we actually got a little rain, and the temperatures are nice and cool! Can you spell "R.E.L.I.E.F."?? So today the skies are full of dark clouds, quite overcast. Although this isn't going to last long, I'm all for that about now!

I hope you're managing to stay cool wherever you are. Have a great upcoming weekend and take good care of each other.

PEACE
Love Jude
