ALL GONE........

Sniff! Sniff! Big sister Linda left for home today, and now I'm missing her already..... We all had lottery tickets to check this morning, but none of them won, so we all have to go back to our lives and our jobs.
Oh well, it was a very nice visit and we had lots of sisterly belly laughs ~~ it was just too bad that she was so sick while she was here, poor thing. And so far, I've managed to keep the viruses going around at bay. FINGIES CROSSED, KNOCK ON WOOD!!

We are in the middle of another cold snap here, but we sure can't complain as we didn't get any ice storms or anything like the poor people out east, both here in Canada and in the States. Here, we have some snow and it's just cold right now. But nuthin' us hardy Canuks can't handle, even if some of us bitch and whine about it, LOL. The roads aren't really too bad here right now, so I'm not sure what happened today, but coming back from taking Linda to the bus depot, Pam and I drove by somebody's van that slid into the center ditch on the highway and overturned. There was a firetruck just leaving the scene, which it appears was there only "in case" as it didn't look like they were needed for anything.....and there must have been an ambulance already there and gone, cuz the van was still laying upside down but it was empty and there were only police cars all over the place. We just did what we always do when we pass something like that, and said a quick little prayer, hoping that the people involved were going to be okay. It's scary when you see something like that though.

Now, what's this??? Oh...... there are two little doggies here, my sister Pam's little angels, who seem to want to blog about something. So I'll just let them take over for a bit here ~~~

"hello. I am Lady. I am 12 years old. my sister Misty is 8. we miss our auntie linda and want her to come back. cuz I'm the oldest, I get to do the typing. so stop whining Misty. geez. my name is Lady, but my auntie jude called me Ladybugs once when I was a baby, and then she just started saying "Bugs". so that's what I got stuck with. It's okay I guess. she can call me anything she wants really, cuz she's our favourite auntie anyway. just don't tell my other aunties that I said that. my mom pam still calls me Lady when she gets mad at me if I'm bad. not that I'm bad as often as Misty is. geez. I have been getting jealous a little cuz auntie jude has been talking a lot about a new little puppy that her friend Kurt has. her name is Aspen I guess. I saw her picture on his blog, and yeah she's cute but geez so are me and my sister. don't know what the big deal is anyway. but I guess my auntie is allowed to "look".
just don't bring Aspen here Kurt. me and my sister would be nice to her but only after we put her in her place as far as my favourite auntie goes. don't want any other doggies trying to muscle in on her hugs and kisses or anything. okay now auntie jude is giving me a "look". I think I could be in trouble for talking tough about Aspen. geez. I'm only a doggie defending my territory. well I guess I better give the keyboard back to her now before she gets in a tiff. these humans. geez. nice talking to you. be nice to my favourite auntie or I'll have to get tough. I might have to bark at you. Misty too. bye."

Hmm..... well looks like the little darlings are worried about a little competition, but I don't think even a sweetie as cute as Aspen could ever tear my heartstrings away from these two little darlings, LOL

So it's back to the regular work-weeks now, no more Monday holidays! It was a nice Christmas/New Year season, my favourite of the year. Now that company is gone, and now that Ukranian Christmas is over, I'll have to perform the always sad task of taking down my tree....... I'll do it on my next days off. In the meantime, I should think about tomorrow and getting a few things done before Monday morning comes....... so take care everyone until next time! PEACE!

Love Jude
