THIS IS WHAT HE WROTE......

Hello and good Thursday to you all! I have a feeling that as time progresses here for the summer, that my online time may be limited a bit more to quick answering of emails and blog checks ~ my own blog postings may get fewer and shorter. Due to a summer filled with home renovations and repairs, when I DO have my 4 days off I will be extremely busy, and, I can't even imagine this, even more tired than I already am. This summer I will appreciate even more than ever having those 4 days off in a row! Thank you God.

Most of you know that on my down time I have a very full spiritual life. I am honoured to have been given the gift of mediumship and working with my Guides is always such a loving and awesome, humbling experience, each and every time. It is my belief that every one of us is born with a "Guardian" that stays with us for this incarnation. Some would call it a "doorkeeper" or a "guardian angel", but you get my meaning. However, we all have many Guides, and each of them work with us in different areas of our lives. I can't honestly tell you exactly how many Guides I have, but the ones I am aware of (having been "introduced" to them and seeing them) I can tell you a little about. When I am doing healing work, so far I am aware of 4 Guides. They are always with me for that purpose, whether I am doing healing work on others or for myself. I have many Guides for clairvoyance, or any work where I am giving messages to others. There are others, but the one I want to focus on at the moment is one who works with me in other areas, including my writing.

I have written poetry since I was young, and although it is nothing to rave about, it has always been a creative gift of sorts for my own soul. When I discovered 10 years ago that I was being given the gift of mediumship, one of the things that came about for me was "Inspirational Writing". This is almost the same as clairvoyance and giving messages to someone as you get them......only in this case it is clairvoyance and you write down what you are getting. That's probably the easiest way for me to describe it for you to understand it. Like all mediumship, you sit in meditation and start working, only with this, the intent of the meditation is specifically for Inspirational Writing ~ hence my writing Guide shows up. With paper and pen in hand, when stuff starts coming, I just start writing it all out.

My writing Guide has given me many things that are so touching and so personal, and extremely supportive and helpful to me. And sometimes what he gives me is food for thought, and different perspectives on subject matter. A couple of years ago, he decided to talk about relationships, and I thought it was beautiful. Today I thought it would be nice to share this one with you.

"People come and go in our lives, some crossing our paths briefly and some staying. They are, all of them, Gifts.

Some can be like the gift of chocolate: it is sweet and satisfying, but only with us for a short time. These gifts leave a sweet memory, and always something to grow on.

Others can be like the gift of a really great new pair of bluejeans: becoming our favourite, aging with time and what we most enjoy feeling surrounding us. Then the day comes when, with changes within us, we slowly outgrow them. They seem to 'wear out' somewhat. And so we remember them with wistful longing for a time, but never forgetting them. Then we may discover something new that becomes comfortable in it's time and place within our lives.

Still others can be like the gift of jewellry: strong and unbending in it's form, and seemingly meant to last forever. But even with gifts this strong, we can break them or even lose them of our own accord. If we should take them for granted, we may misplace them, and discover one day that we can no longer find them around us. If we don't treat them with respect and care for them, they become tarnished and abused.

These gifts we need to take out and "polish up" once in awhile to keep their sparkle and shine an on-going presence in our lives.

We need also to remember ~ at all costs ~ with what intent these gifts were given to us: always they were given to us in love, and always we should give them back our gratitude and love.

Whether a person in our lives is a gift of short sweetness, or of lasting comfort, or a lifetime of strong endurance ~~ they are all gifts, meant to be accepted with love, cherished with love, and always taken care of with love.

People, like gifts, need to be unwrapped with care and always treated with respect and love.

Love,
B."

My friendships mean the world to me. They absolutely do. This of course includes my sisters, who are my friends too. And I for one don't let a meeting with them go by without telling or showing them in some way that I love them. If either of us were not to be here tomorrow, I know my friends would know how much I loved and appreciated the gift that they are to me.

To me, all of this is just common sense, but when these thoughts came straight from my wise and loving Guide, I embraced them with even more certainty. On a light note, when I was done and re-read it, it of course brought tears to my eyes.....but you should have seen me bawling the day he gave me a birthday message ~ for me on my birthday. OY.

We all have our Guides, looking out for us, encouraging and supporting us. Whether we see and hear them, or if we're just open to the "intuitions" they bring us..... they are there for us. So listen to your inner feelings everyone, you can't go wrong. Have a wonderful Friday, and until next time, PEACE be yours!

Love Jude
