IN TODAY'S NEWS.....MORE HELP ON THE WAY

A lot of us were recently blogging about (or commenting about) finding huge, ugly spiders in our houses..... but how would you like to be the unfortunate one to find THIS in your home??? Don't get me wrong....I still wouldn't want to find a big ol' Recluse Spider in my bathtub either, which a couple of bloggers did. YECH!! Anyway this guy certainly seemed to have kept his cool, which is a LOT more than I would have been able to do. Every one of my bodily orifices would have been slamming shut as I was running out my front door!

And for the devastion to so many in our neighbouring country in the wake of Katrina, I was happy to see that Canada's government has been working with our neighbours to the south, and is SENDING HELP which is being coordinated with it's U.S. counterparts. I wish I lived close by down there and owned tons of property ~ I'd open all my doors to those poor souls who are homeless.

As usually happens in times of great struggle, some of our CELEBRITIES are rallying to help out the cause. One of my old time favourites, John (Cougar) Mellencamp, is involved too.

And on the homefront, renovations are still sucking big-time. LOL Hubby is still trying to finish shingling the roof. I'm starting to wonder if all of this will ever end???

And yesterday I had my dentist appointment with Dr. I.L. Drillya, and he did a root canal. The right side of my face is SORE. Plus to make matters worse, he's telling me that there's now more filling than tooth on that one, so I'll need to have a crown done on it. Oh joy! I just got a crown last week, and have to pay $400 + for the damn thing. I can't afford this shit. It'll come to the point where I'll have to just say "pull all the damn teeth!" and I'll gum everything to death. LOL!!

All right the pity party is over, it could be a whole lot worse......I could be one of the unfortunates who lived in Katrina's path. Kinda puts everything into perspective, doesn't it? I may have to go into hawk again to pay for another crown, but at least I'll have food to use the teeth on, and a home to eat it in.

God bless all those in need of help ~~

Love Jude
