Just got home from my hubby's sister's. They had us out for a pre-Christmas dinner. Yum! They live out in the country just outside the city, and it's about a 25 minute drive from our house. Coming home was just that, but going out there tonight (4:15 p.m. we left the house) took us TWO HOURS!! It's cold, and the streets are a wee bit slippery, but there was traffic just crawling bumper to bumper for as far as the eye could see on all major thoroughfares..... it was a nightmare. I told hubby you'd have thought we were on a California freeway in rush hour traffic. It sucked!! But, we had a nice meal and a lovely visit sitting around the fireplace chatting and eating her scrumptuous baking.

Anyway it's getting late and I'm going to wish my friend Trace a great HumpDay Birthday one more time before I sign off.... hope it's a good one for you!
