SNOWY MONDAY IN THE PROVINCIAL CAPITAL
Well we're finally getting some of that white stuff! It's actually a pleasant enough day out there, not overly cold, just cold enough to turn the precipitation in our clouds overhead to snow instead of rain.
So after I'd had my morning wakeup cup of coffee, I grabbed my digital and headed out the back door to snap a few. It's one of those snowfalls where the world seems blanketed in silence. You know the difference sound makes in an empty room versus a room full of furniture, drapery etc.? It's like that...... the snow is falling, the sky is overcast with clouds, and all is so silent...

In these next two pictures you can KINDA see the snowflakes, a blur against the background of the fence.
To steal a line from sister Pammie, maybe these will finally get some use this winter??? This is a first!

I've spent a few minutes working on my blog links, sadly there are a few that I've taken off as they are no longer up and running. However on the up side, I've also added a few lately! My bloglinks aren't done alphabetically as you can see, I just add them on as I gets 'em.... so the newer ones are always added on at the very bottom. Welcome to the newest bunch, Ben, Jeremy and Lois! I always love adding to the groovy friendship here.
****UPDATE**** I have now also added Hoss to my links, welcome Hoss!
Off to get the grocery run done today, Trucker Bob asked for borscht ingredients ~ with me as the chef, no less. Well Bob sorry hon but how about a jar of ready-made? Nah.....never as good, is it?
