MORE CEMETARY SERENITY

Sister Pammie and I are cramming in the fun things we wanted to do this week that she is on vacation. Friday we went right back to the same cemetary for some daylight pics. It's indescribable, but suffice to say that it is a very beautiful and serene place.

Below I've posted just some of the shots I took. Pammie took I think 185 (!!!) and I got 80 today. It was a PERFECT day weather wise..... sunny and a little hot in the sun, but what made it so nice was there was SO much shade there, and a really sweet breeze.

At one point nearer the end of our visit, we picked a nice shady spot in the soft grass and sat down for a rest, a smoke and a drink. The grass was cool, the breeze was cool, and the whole damn excursion was cool! (and no, we left nothing but footprints, we carried our cigarette butts out with us)

The only downside was that I was still feeling like sheeite. It must be a stomach virus. It was my sore as hell back and icky tummy that made us decide to finally end it for the day. That, and the fact that both of us had developed a headache. But we had a nice time!!!

I loved the patina on the metal plates on the front:

Sadly, time to go......

Of the things I've done on my first week of vacation, I have to say hands down these 2 visits to the cemetary with Pam were the most enjoyable. Although I was feeling quite ill all week long and in quite a lot of pain, these trips were SO worth the effort and proved to be a lot of fun.

Thanks, Pammie!

And now for all you photography buffs..... you HAVE to see her photographs! We took some of the same shots but from different perspectives, and a lot of hers are of different things than I took. Go see!! VISIT PAMMIE'S

And just for the record, today I am finally feeling much better! WooHoo! Take good care of each other, God bless....

PEACE!
Love Jude
