GOOD KARMA

A friend of mine, Ruth, sent this, it is the Dali Lama's Instructions For Life for 2005. It is definitely worth sharing.......

1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risks.

2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

3. Follow the 3 R's:
* Respect for self
* Respect for others
* Responsibility for all your actions

4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.

5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.

6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great relationship.

7. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

8. Spend some time alone every day.

9. Open arms to change, but don't let go of your values.

10.Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

11.Live a good, honourable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.

12.A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.

13.In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.

14.Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.

15.Be gentle with the earth.

16.Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.

17.Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.

18.Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

19.Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.

Lots of wonderful things to aspire to live up to!

So I phoned my dentist from work this morning, and discovered that he is booked SOLID, not one open appointment for the whole week. And then he's away on holidays next week. So.....I have to sit in his waiting room until he can put me in a chair to do a quick temporary fix with this tooth of mine. I've opted to wait until my first day off (Thursday) to do this, as they can't schedule around me at work when we don't have a clue how many hours I may be waiting in there. At least it doesn't hurt or anything...it's just really sharp and is hurting my tongue.

Had a good day at work today, my feet are killing me though, as we were really crazy busy (being a Monday) and I hardly got to sit down. Hopefully it'll be a bit saner tomorrow, lol. I hope you all have a good week ahead of you, try to remember at least one or two of the above Instructions For Life, it may make all the difference in the world for you! Take good care of each other and may PEACE be yours!

Love Jude
