BASIC HUMAN RIGHT

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Finally, and although it's only a start, Canada may just help to lead the way in North America...
Same Sex Marriage This makes me proud to be a Canadian! Not everyone in this country feels the same way about this topic, though, as can be expected I suppose. Some who are against the idea of two gay people living in matrimony have moral issues with the idea of it. Moral?? Two people who love each other and want to commit to a lifetime of monogomy, two people whom God made the way they are? To me that's got nothing to do with being a "moral" issue, LOVE IS LOVE. We are talking about decent, loving and responsible human beings who want nothing different than heterosexual couples do. Yes, I'm proud to be a Canadian for many reasons, and this step towards righting a basic human rights issue that has been wrong, is just another reason I'm wearing my maple leaf pin this last week, just in time for Canada Day this Friday! God bless our nation! And God bless the persecuted and the wronged. It's all about human rights and respect and love for one another AND our uniqueness. Good for you, Canada!

I'm psyching myself up (or more importantly, my FEET are) for another day out front on my feet all day today ~ as I do another day of training out front at the counter at work. It's so very difficult to do this while my beloved cashroom job is still there.....letting go of control over my position in there, as it IS still until we move to the new premises in August, is very hard for me to do. I've only had one day in the cashroom in the last 2 weeks. And next week?? None ~ it's all spent out front and one day on a training class elsewhere. Anyway, my feet are already giving me grief ( I have heel spurs and some nerve damage) and after 2 days on my feet last week, I still haven't got them back to normal yet. It will be easier in the new place as we will have both stand up AND sit down counters, and I will, out of necessity, have to always use the sit down ones. But while in training here, it's on my feet and nothing to be done about it. My co-workers and my boss are great about it ~ man I work with wonderful people!! Anyway......get ready feet, you're in for another day of torture and I'll try to sit as much as I can, if I can, lol.

I'd like to welcome another new link on my sidebar,Vince, check him out, it's a great blog. Welcome Vince! And thank you Tracey for turning me on to it, darlin'!

Well peeps I must get ready for work, so I wish you all a great Hump Day. Love one another, and until next time, PEACE be yours!

Love Jude
