SCAREY SHIT, MAN

Yikes. Global Warming stories scare the sheeite out of me.
SCAREY STORY HERE

Are we going to wake up one day and find that the oceans suddenly claimed another mile or two of earth's shores overnight?? All that melting ice has to go somewhere. Geez I hope I'm in heaven by then.

We could use some global 'warming' in this house, sheesh. I know you are probably all getting sick of hearing about my renovations, but you know.... it's what my whole LIFE is about right now. Tuesday was the DAY FROM ABSOLUTE HELL here. My hubby has a very bad temper, and it came out many times that day. And then in the evening, although he wasn't mad at me, I did something really, really stupid. It was an accident, but it caused hubby about 3 hours more of work into the late night.

The wall guys had JUST left our house after mudding the first taping on the walls. In our hallway from the bedrooms to the kitchen, there is an outer corner that goes into the living room. They had just mudded that corner, nice and straight. Except I didn't realize they had mudded all the way around the corner into the hallway. Well........I leaned around the corner to say something to hubby, put my hand on the wall (hallway side) and put my hand right into the wet mud.

So now we had a huge hole in the mud, and hubby (not angry at me) ran around trying to find a flat tool thingy (don't ask me what they are called) used for mudding and began trying to fix it. Well.......... it had already started to set, so it made it worse. After about 3 hours of him swearing, cursing and hollering because he just kept making it worse, he finally got it to a point where they could maybe fix it the next day themselves. It was walking around here on eggshells for hours, and it wasn't fun. I felt bad, very bad.....it was a mistake, hubby knew that, but he was angry at himself for making it worse over and over again. What a mess. Anyway nobody got to bed until around 2 a.m. and it was a work day next day for Pammie and me. Yeesh.

It was a very stressful renovation day in my house. I was in tears more than once.

On to something MUCH lighter.......here's another funny for you, a friend sent me a little stash of them awhile ago. Thanks Terri, you make me smile lots!

Good grief. You'd think if he wasn't gettin' any served up to him, he could at least "help himself", no? LOL!!

Oooooh, and for all you Leppy ladies that haven't yet seen the sexy pic on Jules' blog, (JuLes, not JuDes, lol) you can check it out HERE. YUM YUM YUM! These boys do NOT look like they are in their 40's. **shiver** okay I have to change the subject I'm drooling on my keyboard now.....

My hours just got changed at work. At least until Christmas or thereabouts, my days won't be Mon. to Wed. anymore, with a blessed 4 days off in a row. I will be working every other Saturday and a mix of other days in between. My boss gave me a choice of 2 arrangements and I picked what appears to be the best for me, rest-wise. (I need to catch up on sleep on days off, and can only do that when I have a few days off in a row) I wish I had the stamina, energy and sleeping patterns that I had when I was a bit younger. Anyway this is all due to the fact that one of our ladies just left and she used to work end of the week. So it will be hard getting used to, but we'll manage somehow. She also asked me if I could work next Saturday which is a bad day for me, we're short staffed and I don't know how they're going to manage though. Even my friend Vickytoria has to be in that day, and she works full time as it is. I saw last week where she had put a question mark beside my name for that Saturday so I've been trying to figure out if I can be there but it's just not a good day for me. Anyway I'm trying like hell to see if I can arrange to be there. And I just found out that my good friend Barb's mother passed away last night....she was there for me like a rock when my Mom passed away not long ago, there will be a funeral here shortly that I will be going to, I'm guessing this weekend sometime.

It's Thursday morning, and last night our ceilings got painted. It stinks in here, phew! Tonight and tomorrow night they are painting our walls. Then Sunday we are renting a steam cleaner and doing our carpets wherever there isn't furniture piled up, then Monday we'll put the furniture on the clean spots and clean the rest. Then Tuesday I'm back to work, don't know when we'll get everything set back up so that the REST of the rooms in my house won't have stuff piled in them! I'm getting sick of living this way, ARGH. Oh, and Monday is Canada's Thanksgiving so it's a holiday, thankfully.

Well I'm up early (5 a.m.) as I couldn't sleep so I'm going to make some coffee and slowly get ready for work. I can't wait to have painted walls and see how my colour choices turned out. I took some "before" pictures, so I'll post them when I have the "after" ones. Have a good Thursday everyone, take care of each other! For now, 'toodles from Judles', and PEACE to you!

Love Jude
