VETERAN'S GRAVES IN THE RAIN

How on earth can the temperatures go from the blazing 80's down to the comfy 60's in just a day or two??? That's what has happened here, and although I LOVE it, it does make us look at hubby's new flower garden with some wistful thoughts. Won't be long now and we'll have that first frost.

Last winter was incredible here. We had NO snow to speak of until March, when we got absolutely dumped on. However it was March, so it melted fast and spring was under way. This winter however, could be different. I've heard reports that it could be a long and cold one, with tons of snow. Anyway, that got me thinking this morning that I should get out there and take a couple shots of the flowers while they're still blooming profusely.

The Russian Olive tree is dropping it's silvery green leaves, which are spreading out through the flower beds.

Late Bloomers:

Sister Pammie and I loaded up her doggies in the car tonight and went to another cemetary just a few blocks from my house. It was a stressful day today especially for Pam, as her oldest dog Lady (Bugs) had what Pam thought was a possible seizure this morning, not a pretty sight, and very upsetting when you love the little critters so much. The poor little thing as it turns out, has heart problems and is now on meds for it. She is fine now, but poor Pammie is stressed to the max. I was pretty stressed too!

Although we did get a few pictures, it rained us out after we'd been there only about 10 minutes, so we had to call it a night. The girls were glad to see us though!

CLICK HERE to see the pictures I managed to get, and posted over at Opacity tonight.

**EDIT** I made an error in dates on my Opacity post, it was Sunday that we drove by the cemetary and saw all the Canadian flags... we are assuming they were there for the anniversary of 9-11 **

I hope you are all having a good week, and if you aren't I'll gladly send you big hugs. Take care of each other and God bless.....

PEACE
Love Jude
