BODY PARTS!!!!!!!!!!

Why did God make these upside down runny things right over our mouths???? (George Carlin I think was the one who talked about this) I mean, even at the best of times there's stuff up there that needs to be um.... blown away.... and that's only if you're not a really, really GROSS person who gets it out of there WITHOUT a kleenex! LOL
But when you get a head cold, it's just like the "tap" gets turned on and you have to hurry to keep up with it all, cuz you don't want drippy things hanging off you, right? I mean, that would just look gross to someone else. Not to mention the fact that, because God put our noses where He did, it drips right over our mouths!!!!! How EEEWWW is that??? Maybe He just did that so that we could perfect our hand/nose coordination or something. Give us something to work on when we're laying around sick with a cold. Get a little excercise, you know? Not to mention keep Kleenex Company in biz. Sheesh. I suppose, though, if He hadn't put our noses upside down, then they'd just back up and overflow all over our chins anyway. Mind you, it WOULD give us a little more time to run for the tissue!! lol

And now, in the news, I did make those pyrohy dishes, and yes Linda, they turned out not bad! The potato/cottage cheese one in particular. The sauerkraut one was also good, and very reminiscent of pyrohy, although I was just guessing and I think next time I need more pasta and less sauerkraut. But I made the creamed onions with it and it was deelish as always!! I also made that Cherry Slice recipe today too... it's squares, with chopped up marashcino cherries, almonds, and coconut. YUMMY! With a cherry flavoured butter icing, I used some of the juice from the jar of cherries instead of milk. I'm just a bakin' cookin' fool today!!

What else? ......... well not much I'm afraid, I can tell you that it is still FRIGID here for temperatures, it's -27C (-17F) right now, which isn't as bad as it was, thankfully. But my ass can still be threatened to freeze off, which could in fact trigger another "body part" blog for all of you! (that will be the "Bunyaka Blog" for my NooYawk sista Janna, lol) Aww don't give me any of that crap, I know you look forward to it! You're just like the rest of us, you go by a bad road accident and you can't help it, you just have to LOOK anyway. Same thing. You don't really WANNA hear all about my "parts" and their foibles, but you just can't help yourselves. Anyway you're off the hook for now, as there's not much happening with the rest of my worn out ol' bod......just the ickypoo runny upside down thingy.

On another topic, I keep hearing how great a movie Cold Mountain was, and it's on TV tonight. So as we blog, I'm taping it to watch later. Still haven't seen Shrek 2, which is a must. I loved the first one!! And oh yeah, my cousin Reg in Ontario sent me some things in the mail today; a funeral card for his mom, my Aunt Norma who just passed away (my Mother's sister) and a couple of pictures that she had that my Mom had given her when I was 1 year old. On the back of this picture my Mom had written "Judy is exactly one year old here"...... it was the very moment that I learned to walk! This was taken on my grandparent's farm (my Dad's parents) in Angusville, Manitoba. That's my big sis Linda with me, she would have been 2 yrs. old and 4 months.

My, my but my legs haven't been that skinny for a few years!!! LOL

Well that's the note I'll leave you all on tonight ~~ I'll catch up with you another day......... so until then, take good care and I wish you PEACE!

Love Jude
