I DID IT!! I DID IT!!

Okay, okay......I know you're probably all going to roll your eyes at this, but for me this is a BIG deal, lol!! Today I found on my computer a "paint" program that I didn't know I had, and this afternoon I farted around with it while I was waiting for my company to arrive, and look what I made! I finally made my very first, honest to goodness graphic ~ and now my Rocker Chicks Over 50 Club isn't just some piece of crap, lol.

I am very proud of myself, can you tell? ***pats herself on the back, hurting herself in the process because of menopausal joints while trying to reach*** Thanks to sister Pammie for a few tips and watching over my shoulder while I learned to create! Love ya, Mee Mee! And a very generous lady, Knight, emailed me today with a code that she had done up for me for this very thing, having read about it in a previous post on my blog. She came very close to what I've made up too, so thanks Knight, I'm sorry you went to all that trouble, but it just shows me what a great lady you are!

So the birthday party went swell ~ and I'm kicking my arse cuz I forgot to ask them to take a pic of the cake after they decorated it. The meal and cake was deelish, thanks to sister Pammie and sister Brenda. We had a lovely visit, and I did get some lovely prezzies too.

It's after midnight and we're just heading off to bed. Pammie just took "the girls" outside to the doggie bathroom, and came back in reporting Northern Lights dancing in the sky. By the time I got my digital camera out there they had faded too much, and I think they'd have to be pretty bright anyway to catch them on a camera ~~ actually I don't know if you could do it anyway without some special kind of lens.
