COYOTE UGLY

Wow, this is really ugly....... there have been some attacks on small children by coyotes around Calgary. I know one of the kids was only 3 yrs. old, I saw his pic in the paper yesterday, his mom was holding him. He has lacerations on the head and face but luckily it wasn't too bad. I read another small child was trying to get away by climbing up the ladder to a slide or something, and a coyote bit into his leg and pulled him down. I am not sure, but I think that child may have got away with some bites to legs and head but nothing more serious. Holy crap!! You'd think this was out in the wilderness, but no, Calgary is a bustling city just like Edmonton! Those poor children will probably always have a fear of animals now. I guess one of them actually went up to a coyote, thinking it was a "doggie".... sheesh! Poor little tykes.......

Not much news on the homefront......hubby and Pammie are both at work and I'm home trying to catch up on some *sleep* whatever that is, lol. And "the girls" are both downstairs, Ladybugs has that damn "cone" on her head so that she won't try pulling her stitches out and causing infection. She doesn't wear it when Pammie's home, but when she has to leave her for the day she needs to put it on her. Lady won't stay up here with me when Pammie's not home, she just wants to lay on Pammie's bed all day, so that means I can't keep an eye on her to make sure she's leaving her stitches alone. Thus, she is wearing the dreaded "cone". And she hates it. Can you blame her? So......she's tugging fiercely at her favourite Auntie's heartstrings (me) by howling and crying her most pathetic *help me Auntie I'm so cute and you love me don't you* whines..... OH GOD IT'S HEARTWRENCHING!! Poor little thing, I can't wait until she gets those damn stitches out! Bet she can't wait either! All she knows is, "mommy puts this damn 'thing' on my head and then leaves me here!!"
Oh I'm such a sucker for those two.......... AARRGGHH!!

Got the Terror Twins of the Laundry World doing double time today ~ getting that done, and I have housecleaning to do, big time. Somewhere in there (if the howling doesn't start up again) I have to find time to catch a nap too.

I bought one of those little headsets last week so that I can chat online with audio instead of the usual typing on Instant Messenger. Pammie tried to get it working last night for me (as she's the computer whiz in this household) but we can't get it to work properly. The other person can hear me, but I can't hear them. Crap. I was lookin' forward to trying them out with my NooYawk Sista Janna....... oh well back to the drawing board. Typity type type it is....at least for now!

Well peeps I must get my bunyakas back down to the laundry room, so I'll wish you all a fabulous Thursday. PEACE to you and yours, and many blessings!
