QUESTION FOR MY GAY FRIENDS

Thanks to Karen, I've found a site that has banners (actually called webbands) that I can put across the top left of my blog, and the one I want isn't worded exactly as I'd like. It says "queer friendly", and I'd prefer it to say "gay friendly". I really want to have this on my site, but I wanted to ask all my gay blogger friends about this word "queer"......is that not offensive anymore? It used to be used in a negative way when I was growing up. I'd proudly have this on here, but I want to know first how you guys think about it. The site that has these says you can make requests, so I've emailed them asking if they can make one just like this that substitutes the word queer for gay.......... I'd really appreciate your opinions on this, thanks ~ and for gawd's sake be honest!!! There's a banner (well a box, really) at the very bottom of my sidebar too that I got from them. You can email me or comment on here, whichever you prefer. Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Love Jude
