I GOT LUCKY TODAY!!!

So I got lucky today, I came back from sitting in Dr. I.L. Drillya's chair with just cleaner teeth! No drilling, no freakin' root canals, no nothing! Woo Hoo! I'm getting away with it for awhile longer I guess.....he said if the tooth starts to bother me at all then yup, I'm back there for another one.... and one of these days too, I'll have to fork out some major bucks to get my crown re-done. OY. So I'm a happy camper, and I even did something on the way home that I've never done before. I decided to stop in at Extreme Pita and treat myself to a pita sandwich.... so for $5 I came home and enjoyed that, along with a tall glass of cold skim moo!! YUM.

Thanks to my NooYawk Sista Janna, who sent me a link today, I now have two SUPER COOL brand new Leppy banners on my sidebar from the Official Site. Both of them are "Rock Of Ages" banners ~ for those of you non-Leppy fans (there are people like that???) Rock of Ages is their new double CD coming out this month, which is a collection of greatest hits plus one new song, a remake of "No Matter What", which they do a fabulous job of! So I'll be owning that puppy soon as it is released in stores here!

It's going to be a fairly quiet weekend for this chick, and that suits me just fine. I went out and bought an anti-static wrist strap at a computer store last weekend, so that I (or hopefully hubby) can take this computer tower apart and clean it. I was without a computer a year and a half ago when my mother board got fried from too much dust. Hey, I'm just a poor schmuk who bought a computer and learned how to use it, how was I to know you were supposed to take apart this scary thing called a tower and clean inside it??? I mean, who knew? So.......... over a year later I'm still waiting for hubby to go buy a static strap so we can clean it again, and finally I went and found one last week. Now.....I'm not exactly crazy about doing this, frankly it scares the crap out of me. What if I damage something? What if it happens to be a really expensive part or something?? So I'm hoping to talk my hubby into at least doing it with me. That way we can share the blame if it blows up or fries. LOL Wish me luck. It needs to be done, because my computer is doing weird things of late and it is waaaay too reminiscent of what it started doing the last time......
