WELL I'M STILL HERE!!!

To all of my online and offline friends who are mothers or mothers to be ~~ I hope you had a wonderful day!!

So as you can see, I'm still here (well I mean my computer is, lol) after cleaning out the tower for the very first time last night. And let me tell you, I was so terrified (buck! buck!) that I was going to do something wrong ~ but when I plugged it back in and it still worked, I did a little dance of gratitude to the computer chip god in the sky. Anyway I was some kinda relieved, to the point where I laughed at myself when I realized how badly I was sweating, lol.

Just got back from the Sunday grocery run with sis Pammie. Did the usual pit-stop at a non-grocery store just for some fun stuff. This time we went back to Walmart and I got a couple of computer things.... just stuff like CD cleaning cloths and that sort of thing. Good grief we were roasting in the sun out there and it ain't even summer yet. I think one of these days I just may have to give up and move to Siberia just so I can be comfortable year round. Wouldja miss me if they don't have computers there??? Well regardless, I'd surely miss all of YOU!

Do some people think they are cats and have 9 lives? Today we drove by this lady, walking down right alongside 170th. Street ~ a major thoroughfare ~ reading a book as she's slowly walking along. She comes to a spot where she has to walk across an entrance that goes into SuperStore, and just steps down into the entrance and walks across it, never taking her damn eyes off her book! Meanwhile, traffic is whizzing past her and some of us vehicles are turning into that very spot. (we were first) That silly woman can thank her lucky stars that Pammie is a good driver and pays attention. And doesn't do stupid assinine things like talk on her cell phone when she's driving, and maybe wouldn't have seen this woman. Sheesh! I mean, this isn't some 2 gas-station town, this is a big CITY. Lots of traffic. Whizzing by. PAY ATTENTION, SILLY WOMAN! There I feel better. Do you? LOL

Geez I hope I'm just getting old and not coming down with something. My muscles are aching bad, even my damn cheeks hurt! No, not the ones I smile with either. It hurts to sit, stand or walk cuz the ol' bunyakas are protesting with pain. Now that's a REAL pain in the ass.

Well peeps nothing else to go on about, just wanted to wish you mothers (that doesn't sound very good does it?) a very Happy Mothers Day! And for my own Mom, who is probably dancing a slow waltz with Dad somewhere up there, this one's for you........
