IN TODAY'S NEWS......

Image hosted by Photobucket.comCanada has officially become the 4th. nation in the world to embrace same sex marriage laws!!! It was finally passed by our Senate late last night. There were some hold-outs, including the not so popular Premier of my province of Alberta. However I am happy to say the hold-outs will now have no choice but to bow down to the progress of human rights! You can read about it HERE. You all know by now how fiercely strong I feel about this issue, and how passionate my posts about this subject can be. This makes me ecstatically happy, people! And this also makes me one very, very proud Canadian. OH, CANADA!

And in other news, it seems we may step out of time with our U.S. neighbours, which could cause a whole whackload of problems. You can read about this HERE. If the U.S. does go ahead and change their daylight savings time by a couple of months, it will throw many industries out of sync between our two countries. Personally I cannot see how Canada will have any choice but to follow suit if we want to try to nip a bunch of confusion in the bud! We'll have to wait and see how this all unfolds.

And that, peeps, is a fraction of what will be a part of history in the making for Wednesday, July 20, 2005. And I'd like to thank all of you for being a part of my blogging time here ~ holy crap I just noticed this morning what number my hit counter is sitting at on this blog, good grief when did this happen!!?? Anyway today is Hump Day, and my last day at work for the week. I leave you all with a wish for an excellent day and remember to take good care of each other! PEACE!

Love Jude
