IT'S ALL IN THE WRIST.....

So here's the deal. I have tendonitis, in both arms ~ hands and wrists. What sounds stupidly light to some other people (my hubby for one) is too heavy for me to lift. Not because I always can't lift it, but because if I do, I'm in big trouble with pain for days afterward and having to wear those stupid (I like that word tonight, can ya tell) wrist braces. The ones where you can't type on a keyboard or write with a pen properly. Anyhoo...... even things like a full coffee pot will do it. Anytime I can use both hands, I should. So, case in point. I have a perfectly lovely set (of 12) of stoneware dishes. But, in recent years they are just too friggin' heavy for my hands to be lifting them in and out of my cupboards. Well, bless her heart, my sis Pammie found a brand new Dollar Store here, right close to home. NOTHING in this store is over a dollar, nothing. And the store is huge! So......... they have complete sets of melamine dinner ware in there, and today I went and bought some. A set of 12 dinner plates, rectangular sandwich plates, cereal bowls, and some serving dishes and bowls, and 2 platters. The whole kaboodle cost me $46.00 for 42 pieces, two of which have lids! Not bad huh?? And......... my stoneware set was a pretty white with pink and blue designs on it, which is lovely, except I'm getting away (away, I say!!) from pink and blue in my house, as fast as I can!! LOL And my new ones have those colours in them that I love, all summery, Tuscan kinda colours...... yellows, oranges, reds, greens. So I just pulled them out of the dishwasher and put them away in my cupboards, and I was able to lift several pieces at a time instead of ONE plate of stoneware at a time. I'm happy. When I brought them in and told hubby what I bought (it was my own money, and the stoneware was my own too) he looked at me funny and shook his head. But he just doesn't quite "get it" yet about my tendonitis. He didn't say much, but I could tell he thinks I'm completely batty. Well, I AM, but you know what I mean.

So my one blog fan ( ) asked that Madame Gypsy Judles keep sorcering up her Horror Scopes. I was happy to hear that they are being enjoyed and I'll pass that along to the ol' Hippie chick so she'll keep writing them for us, lol. Thanks NooYawk sista, they'll keep appearing as long as the old broad can write them! (I'm really looking forward to my hair getting grayer, so I can wear it in a single braid down my back, start wearing those loose long dresses, and really look the part)

So what else did I buy today....... oh yes, Tracey will recognize this ~~ I also replaced my old blue and white burner covers for my range top today. I bought some with roosters and sunflowers on them ~ I've been searching for some! Yay me! Those I got at Walmart ~ along with some curtains and rods that I put up tonight down in the laundry area. (the newbies, my Laundry Terror Twins, are a bit bigger and we took off the louvered doors that were there) So it's lookin' goooood. Oh yeah, and I DID buy some groceries and ciggies too, which is what we went out for in the first place, lol.

Well peeps, it's back to work tomorrow for a lot of us........ another weekend is over, **sigh**. I will do my usual 3 days (M-W) and I also have to go in Friday morning for a couple of hours to do the center's bank deposit as nobody else who knows how to do it will be there that day. But it's only a couple hours and I'm off on my own with it anyway. And then it's a LONG WEEKEND! Monday holiday for us Albertans. (Family Day) Hey Patty, are you getting it off too?

Have a great Monday everyone, be well, and God bless. Take care of each other, and HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! ~~~PEACE~~~

Love Jude

AND NOW..... ANOTHER HORROR SCOPE BY GYPSY JUDLES
"All Gemini's should take care remembering to make your mortgage payments this month, as a full moon is forecasted, and everyone knows that Gemini people can't remember a damn thing during full moons. All werewolves should be on the alert for Gemini's who lose their houses and are looking to steal your caves. With Neptune moving into Leo, all Virgos who are virgins will be pure no longer. For all pharmacists who are Leos, stock your shelves with prophylactics. You're in the money now. All people born on this day are suspicious and shifty-eyed."
