GOD BLESS YOU, MOM

Tomorrow, Thursday, is one year since our mom passed away. I have to admit that I'm very glad that the first year anniversary of losing her fell on a day off for me, so I can be home and reflect, shed a tear or two, or whatever. I find that is very healing in itself anyway. I know that I can safely speak for my sisters as well as myself when I say that we miss her very much and feel saddened that she had to go through what she did before she went Home. And that although we DO miss her, we're all glad that she's where she is (cuz we KNOW that lady wouldn't go anywhere but to a place we would call Heaven......), and I for one realize that it's my own "selfishness" that would want her to still be here..... but that's okay, it's only a very human emotion anyway.

One of the things that still really gets to me is the fact that, thankfully, I can still hear her voice in my head. Our Dad has been gone now for 27 years, and I have to sometimes really "work" at calling his voice back to me...... and that bothers me. Anyway I don't mean for this post to be crying on anyone's shoulders, so to speak ~~ I just really wanted to acknowledge both the one year anniversary, as well as my heartfelt feelings about my love for our Mom.

God bless you Mom, I'm just glad that Dad has his sweetheart with him once again ~ I look forward to one day getting hugs from you both again! And to my 3 sisters, I love you all and am glad we can be here for each other, as always.........

Thanks for listening......
Love Jude xoxox
