MONDAY BLUES

Nothing much doing here to chat about this morning, just getting ready for work, and can't even see out my windows for the frost on them! All I know is, I'm gonna freeze my bunyaka's off walking to work this morning! Yesterday I finally found something I've been looking for for a few years.....they are called Yak Trax and they're a stretchy thingy that fits over the bottom of your boots/shoes with little metal thingys on them so you don't slip on ice. My back alley (which is looong) can get like a skating rink some days and that's where I have to walk to get to my office, which is about a 7 minute walk. So on those days when it's icy, I have to shuffle like a 90 yr.old just so I don't fall and crack my head open. A younger man broke his ankle in the alley on the ice a couple years ago, and I don't wanna follow in his footsteps. Anyway I have them, they're on my winter boots and I feel safer already. Now for the cold.........
Well I look something like a smurf I guess when I have to dress warm to walk to work. Big oversized winter jacket, gloves or mitts, boots, and a huge fuzzy scarf wrapped around my head, partially over my face (hafta see where I'm going!) and carrying my purse, lunch bag, and whatever else I need to bring in. I do have to say here that I love the sound of snow crunching under my boots! And in the winter when the sun is shining on the snow, it's so beautiful cuz it looks like gazillions of tiny diamonds twinkling..... lovely! But back to the cold..... I'm gonna freeze my bunyaka's off today!!!!!

Anybody using the e-card service I have on here? I'm thinking if it's just sitting there idle I may delete it at some point. Well you guys can let me know....... I bought myself something else yesterday too.... I got a little CD player/radio for my cashroom, as the one that's in there belongs to the office, and gets pulled out front for Christmas music for the month of December. So I'm really missing my tunes in there, and I am bringing my new one in there today, along with about 5 Christmas CD's that I really like. So I'll be doin' the Christmas bop around my space while I work today, lol. I like having music on (not loud though) while I work. Same at home.

Well peeps that's about it for now, wish me luck not getting a frost-bitten nose, lol. Have a great day yourselves, and take care! PEACE!

Love Jude
