ME, GLAMOUROUS? HAHAHAHAHA!!

Some of my online friends have gotten glamour shoots done of themselves, and what a great idea! (check out the bodacious Debs blog!) I've seen other pictures of ladies I knew who had it done and I had NO IDEA it was that expensive a venture! I'd have to take out a mortgage to cover that one......lol Hey maybe Pam could take a pic of me (she's a good little photographer, that one) with some of those "fuzzy" lens thingys so all my wrinkles would just disappear!!! Whaaa?? It's just cheatin' a little bit, right? In all seriousness though, I think it's a wonderful idea, and I can't wait to see more posted, if some of the rest of you have done it too! (we're waiting on our Aussie diva Danni's pix now)

Speaking of Pam, who I welcomed to our little circle of blog friends this morning (see my previous post), she just drove me home from work, she loves her big sis lots you see, actually the MOST of all her sisters, so she picks me up from work on her way home from HER work..... anyway.... (sheesh I can go on, can't I?) we were out in the cold again tonight. With the wind having gone down some from the last couple days, it's not as miserable out there, but it's still too damn cold!! Methinks I need to get myself a brand new parka, and nice long one to cover the legs, and with a nice big hood on it. I might just follow Pam's advice and see what goes on sale in a bit. Those suckers are as expensive as getting glamour photos done, LOL I don't know why they would be either (the parkas) as it was probably us "freezin' our balls off" Canuks that invented them in the first place! Some poor freezing woman got sick of having to tan and scrape animal hides just to have warm clothing and screamed at her hubby to get off his ass, outta the igloo, and get down to the Hudson's Bay Store...... "you bring one more dead animal home for me to wear and I swear, I'll harpoon YOU! I WANT STORE-BOUGHT!!" Well, of course there was no such thing so she had to invent the parka. There! You see? No, really, it's a true story!
Anyway I just make it walking to work in the mornings, but next winter we'll be in the new place, and it's twice as far to walk, so I might as well get prepared for it now. Besides, I don't like resembling one of those ice cubes in my freezer, LOL

Speaking of work, this afternoon I submitted my FINAL design for our new Accounting Office in the new place to my boss. All 3 of them have seen it and are happy with it, but Thursday they have to take it to their 3 regional managers for the "ok"..... and that one guy is still holding out. I hope and pray..... wish us luck! I've done about all I can now, and I've sure prayed hard! All that's left for me to do now is to maybe go out in my back yard and perform a sacrificial rite for the Wish God. Don't worry, no animals or small children will be harmed. Only an effigy of the guy who's holding out....... heh heh..... (Geez I started out such a sweet person, until my sisters got a hold of me and taught me all their bad stuff....)

Well peeps that's about it from the Land of the Frozen North for this time. I hope you're all staying warm, take care, and PEACE!

Love Jude
