What a sweet doggie!! Makes me wanna love her up with some scratches and hugs!

Last night after work, sister Pammie and I went out for dinner with my best pal Michele and another great friend, Leona. We went to Cheesecake and had a great meal and visit. I ended up packing it in before 8 p.m. though, I was so pooped. I had Seafood Quiche, and a tall glass of iced tea. Yum.


Oh, now this is kinda cool!
MSN & YAHOO TO CHAT IT UP. I have both for I.M. and some of my friends don't have one or the other. Huh, what'll they think of next?

Today is laundry day for me, and trying to get some of the clean-up/rearranging done around this house of mine. This is gonna take a LOOOOOONG time I can tell, hubby has so much to do and some of the things I'm waiting for may not get done as "pronto" as I hoped, like baseboards being re-attached, drapery rods being re-installed, etc. I can't do too much in the way of getting my stuff back into the living room and dining room until those things are done. ARGH.

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+
birthday.

Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older. And, there on television, she said it was "exciting." Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day...like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first. The audience laughed so hard they cried.
She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!
Maya Angelou said this: "I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow."

"I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way
he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and
tangled Christmas tree lights."
