GETTING THERE, SLOWLY

Tomorrow, Friday, is Remembrance Day here in Canada and Veteran's Day in the U.S. God bless the troops past, present, and future. And if you haven't yet had a listen to this beautiful tribute, this will be the last time I post it this year. Thanks.

So today I had my 6 month dentist appointment for a clean and check with Dr. I.L.Drillya. He spent some time with me on a tooth that has a root canal done but not enough tooth left to hold any kind of filling...... it needs to have a crown, but I've just had to borrow money to pay for the last one he did a few months ago and I simply cannot afford another one. We're just going to leave it for now and maybe in a couple years I can get it done. Sheesh. It's nice to come home with glistening smooth toofies. And the walk there and back was absolutely spring like. The sun is shining and it was too warm to wear just my spring jacket. Yikes. And we just had a bit of snow?? Yup, but in the next day or two it'll be cold again. Where I live, the snow is coming and that's just a fact. Which is okay by me! Anyway it's a busy day for me today with other stuff as well, and also trying to get my laundry done for the week. There definitely is NO rest for the wicked. Mua ha ha ha...

SO WHAT'S HAPPENING AROUND YOUR HOUSE, JUDE?

LIVING ROOM

Ever so sloooowly, the house inside is starting to come back together. Still nothing much on the walls yet. Oooh would you just look at my fine leather twin cowboys. *sorry, can't help myself* RatHo can't keep her paws off them either.

Got some things out, candles, incense burner etc. (very tall glass thingy, can't hardly see it. Looks like a 2 ft. tall wine glass, has sand in the bottom of it and I stand incense sticks up in it) Oh, and my large aloe vera plant is finally in a sunny window.

DINING ROOM

Oh hubby when will all those tools and things be gone?? It would be nice to actually EAT on the table again.

MORE WORK STILL TO DO

Still haven't got the closet door back on. That's it leaning against the oak wall along with the pretty *gag* ladder. Nice to have my antique sewing machine back too, with my Willow Tree Angel collection and wedding pictures.

Looking pretty grim in places still. And my walls are all so...nekkid! (but that's okay cuz the draperies are up again. *grins*)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com YET MORE TO BE DONE

The framing is still leaning in the corner, and needs to be re-installed back around the door. It will all need painting too.

But it's coming along, no? I'm happy to be able to use the rooms at least somewhat.

Well flower children I must run, I should check on the laundry again now that I'm back home, and make sure RatHo isn't up to no good. Have a good weekend everyone and take good care of each other. Blessings to you all!

PEACE
Love Jude
