LOOKIT!! LOOKIT!!

Well Thursday hubby and I spent all afternoon getting some things done INSIDE the house. It took awhile but we got the dining room and living room drapery rods re-installed. These things aren't just the "usual" kind like the rest of the house, those ones I'm always the one who does those. These ones, as you can see, were custom made (already here when I moved in 13 yrs. ago) and even screw into the floor for pete's sake. This is why we needed 2 of us to do them.

This is the dining room window, MUCH smaller than the living room one.

FINALLY INSTALLED, DAMMIT

I have yet to wash and hang these drapes, but it's been the living room drapes that we've badly needed to get back up for privacy:

YEAH BABY I CAN BE NAKED AGAIN

As you can see, there's still nothing on the walls yet and everything isn't back in there yet, plus what you can't see is all the crap still hangin' around all over the place like tools and ladders. And when hubby moved my dining room china cabinet back into place he broke the little thingys that hold the glass shelves in place. AND he broke a pane of glass in the door of the cabinet too! It's cracked all the way across, although you can't see it in the picture. Dammit again. SO.......there's still stuff just all stuck on the shelves for now, nothing put away nicely yet.

BUT!!!

Lookit, lookit!

NEW LIGHT FIXTURE

He DID hang my new dining room light. Man oh man it sure looks better than the old one, it looked like string art and I hated it! Nice hmmm? Yes, mamma is getting happier now. Soon, maybe we'll have everything else done and in place so that in 4 weeks I can put up my Christmas tree (in the front window) and decorate??? "All I want is everything....am I asking too much?"

I spent today in another office getting some Driver Education training. And guess who my trainer was? My very best friend in the whole wide world, Michele! She is actually a very good teacher so it was a pleasure, although it's extremely tiring to sit in front of a computer all day. But my job requires that I know about this stuff as we get a lot of people looking to take driver training courses etc. so now I know a little bit about it, thanks to Michele. Thanks pal!

Have a great weekend everyone, and take good care of each other! Until next time....

PEACE!
Love Jude
