A LITTLE SAD, A LITTLE FUNNY

It's that time of year again, and I'm thinking of my Dad (may he rest in peace) and every other man and woman who has or is serving in the Armed Forces. God bless the peacekeepers and those who have had to fight for us to keep our freedom. I bought my poppy yesterday and I'm proudly wearing it.

November 11th. (which is this Friday) is Remembrance Day here in Canada. Last year I was given a link to this video and I'll post it again this year so that it will be up on my blog all week. It's a tear jerker. **SEE MOST RECENT POST FOR IT, thank you.**

I hope you've all survived your Monday, I managed to. Busy busy busy seems to be the key in my life right now. I'm getting tired and feeling more and more my age (physically) these days I tell ya. However, if you're really only as old as you "feel" inside......then I'm about oh, 28.

I'm glad everyone is continuing to enjoy the Experiences of RatBastard, RatBitch and, over here, RatHo. It's fun that's for sure. Thank you Lexy for starting it, stay tuned peeps as there will SURELY be more adventures of RatHo here often enough.

Thanks to my friend Tina I have a few funnies to share today. I particularly had a good ol' guffaw over the first one:

A Texas rancher and his wife were bickering while vacationing in France. They were still hardly speaking to each other after being seated in a fancy French restaurant for dinner.

When the waiter arrived the rancher said: "I'll have a big, thick porterhouse steak." The waiter replied: "Monsieur ... what about ze mad cow?" To which the rancher replied, "She'll have a salad."

Two guys were discussing popular family trends on sex, marriage, and values. Stu said, "I didn't sleep with my wife before we got married, did you?" Leroy replied, "I'm not sure. What was her maiden name?" ______________________________________________________________

A little boy went up to his father and asked, "Dad, where did all of my intelligence come from?" The father replied. "Well, son, you must have gotten it from your mother, because I still have mine."

"Mr. Clark, I have reviewed this case very carefully," the divorce court judge said, "and I've decided to give your wife $775 a week." "That's very fair, your honor," the husband said, "and every now and then I'll try to send her a few bucks myself." _______________________________________________________________

A doctor examined a woman, took the husband aside, and said, "I don't like the looks of your wife at all." "Me neither, Doc," said the husband, "but she's a great cook and really good with the kids."

A good laugh is one of those things we all really need in our lives I believe. It's just like "shit". Everyone needs a good "shit" now and then, right? LOL Oh and guess what we just got last night here in Edmonton? SNOW!

Have a good week everyone, and take care of each other. PEACE TO YOU!!

Love Jude
